  • Renews the 26th Emergency Order with amendments – Misc. Dkt. No. 20-9112
    • Modify or Suspend all deadlines and procedures for some time no later than February 1, 2021
    • No in-person proceedings contrary to the Office of Court Administration’s Guidance for All Court Proceedings During COVID-19 Pandemic, as it is updated.
    • No Justice Court and Municipal Court in-person jury proceedings prior to February 1, 2021.
      • Courts must comply with 7-day jury proceeding objection rule prior to conducting remote jury proceedings (See 6(d) in 26th Order and 7(d) in 29th Order).
    • Criminal Cases
      • Remote jury waivers and consent required from defendant and prosecutor for cases where confinement is possible.
    • Child Custody Orders
      • Orders will not be affected by shelter-in-place or any other order issued by a government entity relating to the pandemic
      • Original school schedules control visitation (weekend and/or holiday visitation)
